The fire in the Amazon forest has continued for 16 days! & ldquao; the Earth's lungs & rdquao; smoke
据巴西国家空间研究院的卫星数据显示，截至当地时间8月21号，亚马逊地区的森林大火已持续燃烧了16天，“地球之肺”已被浓烟笼罩。火势较集中的地区位于巴西的朗多尼亚州、马托格罗索州和亚马孙州以及玻利维亚境内，目前大火已造成至少50万公顷的森林被毁。因为起火地区正处于气候最干旱的时期，更是加剧了火势的蔓延。巴西国家太空研究所(INPE)指出，卫星数据显示，2019年亚马逊热带雨林火灾数量激增，比2018年同期增加逾8成，对当地气候环境造成巨大影响，也令巴西总统博尔索纳罗的雨林开发政策再引争议。
According to INPE satellite data, as of August 21, local time, forest fires in the Amazon region have continued to burn for 16 days, “ the Earth’s lungs & rdquo; and have been covered with smoke. The more concentrated areas of fire are located in the Brazilian states of Rondônia, Mato Grosso and Amazonas, and in Bolivia, where fires have now caused the destruction of at least 500,000 hectares of forests.
