AppWorks School, a long-term software engineer from Taiwan, officially launched the first free Taiwan section chain engineer course , which is scheduled to begin at the end of July with an announcement of a list of candidates, which is expected to start on 8 August, looking forward to developing more excellent talent for Taiwan's Web3 development.
application is limited to two years and more of software engineers' experience, which is recorded through face-to-face tests, heat on the area of the chain of heavy districts, and 10-15 hours of learning per week, which is expected to take place in 18 weeks, and last two hours and four nights.
In the course design of the 18-week period, it will be divided into two stages. The first phase will be 10 weeks, and will lead the learners to learn from scratch the chain knowledge of the area, step by step the intellectual development of their own Lending Protocol, Automated Market Maker and Flasloan, with basic grammar, open environment familiarity, practical exercises, solid curriculum development, and help each person to acquire the necessary chain development skills. The second phase will be 8 weeks, including an appreciation of the famous DeFi application of the original code of Compound and Uniswap, and an assessment of the important event in the history of the chain of the district, leading to the development of their own work, and the creation of their own work.
Although the capital market entered the bear market as the world entered the cycle of interest, and the Web3 field was pulled into winter, the chain will remain one of the most important megastereotypes in the next decade . The chain engineer is hot in the world, for example, according to Talent.com /a. The median annual salary of American chain engineer is $140,000, far above the other related jobs of $4 million to $110,000, and the initial salary of a chain engineer (Entry Level Office) is $12 million per year, while most of the engineers with experience are paid more than $170,000 per year.
Web3 differs from Web2 when it comes to software development, decentralisation, collusiveness, cross-domain integration, and so forth. As an example of decentralisation, it is almost possible to change all parameters from the backstage, and in Web3 applications, a good smart contract must allow the operator to have as much control as possible in order to gain the trust of the community and the user as possible, while ensuring security. The collage of the chain allows the product to overlap well beyond the Web2, so that the outside world can see the smartness of the operator's deployment and integrate it, so that the various products can be built as if it were easy to do with a simple foundation set-up, and so that the new product can be created in a way that is surprising. Moreover, Web3, which is a fast-growing field, has a high degree of technical mobility, and requires engineers to quickly acquire the latest state-of-the-art status of the industry and to develop a safe and stable design for use.
AppWorks School was founded in 2016 to assist people who are eager to join the digital, online and electronic industries by providing free, practical, efficient, and industry-friendly hands-on training programmes. There are now iOS, Android, Front-End, Back-End and Blockchain courses, as well as campus trainers and software engineers, who have trained more than 500 students to date, 90% of whom are online engineers in Momo, 91AP, KKBOX, Line TV, Wemo Scooter, Line Tasi, Hahow, ViceTube, OmniChat and Gogoro, among others.
“Web3 industry has entered the revision period, and it is now the next opportunity to re-emerge, as long as Taiwan moves faster, builds up a talent culture, has a good pool of talent, believes that Taiwan has a better chance of participating in the next wave of Web3.” With Web3 growing faster, unresponsive, and the best engineers, almost all of whom are seeking greater scale in their own creative journeys, AppWorks School, in more than half a year's preparatory process, invited the Web 3 creators of AppWorks to participate in course design and to assist the trainers of the Academy, with the aim of bringing the content of the course and the talent they have developed closer to the needs of the pre-founders of the Web3, so that they can become contributors to the Web3 industry in Taiwan.
For AppWorks, which started a six-monthly AppWorks Acelerator course for creators from 0 to 1 to build-market Fit, which expanded over time to provide specific assistance and support to different stages of the web. AppWorks, which started in 2009, started a six-month period of AppWorks School, started a six-year period of software engineership, built up a web-based project, built a new life cycle, built a new life cycle, built a new life cycle, built up a new life cycle.
“AppWorks has been running three main platforms: Accelerator, Fundes and School, which are different in terms of the needs of service starters, investors, and people. The AppWorks School, which was created in 2016 by AppWorks, is responsible for all the costs of providing free, short-term, high-intensity courses for human beings, helps them to make a transition to the Taiwan Graduate School of Technology.

Over the past five years, AppWorks School has focused on providing user-directed software engineers, training three times a year, 16 weeks a week, 70-75 hours a week, and leading up to the class rhythm of Coding. A total of 352 graduates have been trained, out of which 297 alumni have successfully opened their new careers to more than 80 per cent.
In the past year, AppWorks School began to expand the scope and scope of its training. In 2021, 96 alumni graduated so far, with a total of 150 expected to graduate by the end of the year, nearly double last year; in the field of training, with the exception of the former Front-End, Back-End, Android and iOS courses, owing to the growing demand for data-related talent in the field, the new Data Engineering course, with five graduates in the first term, has been launched this year, with the exception of one of the country’s advanced studies.
According to the return of business partners who often employ talent in AppWorks School, compared to university and research graduates, the transfer of students from AppWorks School to software engineering, although not four to six years of academic experience, has led to a clear and self-studyed personal career planning, with three major features: and integration of cross-domain knowledge and experience .
AppWorks School's alumni, most of whom are not software students, have worked in different fields for several years and have decided to convert themselves to a software engineer through AppWorks School. Such experiences and backgrounds allow them to plan their careers with a higher degree of self-assurance, a better understanding of what they want to do at work, and thus a higher level of self-learning motivation, and a greater willingness to continuously fill themselves and continuously update their software capabilities.
The Taiwan's first native unicorn, operating OMO's 91APP, a virtual blend of new retail software cloud services, has recruited AppWorks School graduates for 10 consecutive years. The 91AP Vice-Minister of Advanced Technology, Lin Davy, has commented on the alumni 'AppWorks School's example: "AppWorks School alumni have a common ethos, which is a great effort of mentalism. Many will enter AppWorks School, a second chance of pursuing their careers, and before that, they have taken a different path, recommenced it more in line with this goal, and are willing to do more to achieve better results."
In addition to this, different backgrounds represent the accumulation of different capabilities. Students from a product or marketing background, like Terbole Founder, Terence Lin, say: "To date, our AppWorks Sool alumni, who have done a great job in recruiting and continuing to recruit soft talent from college, in addition to their potential in software engineering, their ability to learn and their ability to do many things at the same time." These features allow AppWorks School #18, alumni in the soft industry, to be well represented.
The alumni’s excellent performance, in addition to corporate ratings, is directly based on salary. In this five-year alumni’s salary survey, 102 people returned their current salaries, matching their annual salary calculations from AppWorks School, a clear trend towards growth:
The median annual salary for three to five years after graduation is 1.2 million yuan, compared to the annual salary at the time of graduation, 65 & nbsp; 10,000 yuan, with an increase of 84.6 per cent; and 900,000 yuan for three to four years, with an increase of 28.6 per cent for three to five years. As a whole, the median salary for three to five years of experience is about 71.44 million yuan for > >/a> for three to five years, and is far higher than the average salary of 104 yuan for The four-year-old alumni, Zhang Jiankang, who is currently a research manager at the LINE TV, who has come back from his first graduation experience, believes that the most important gains are technological upgrading, as well as a more comprehensive understanding of how the Internet industry works, and that it is the job-friendly place to solve problems through programming. For his position as a software engineer, he considers the most important ability to solve problems and communicate, consistent with the core directions of AppWorks School training. Over the past five years, AppWorks School has worked with nearly a hundred talent companies to help them match their first-time talent at the graduate level. From the perspective of the talent market, work patterns are changing in a concrete and profound way. For example, before the COVID-19 epidemic, more and more students have graduated and moved to full-scale and long-range entrepreneurship, as in the case of Forbole, where the recruitment of the first full-time employee started with internationalization and long-distance work, along with members of the decentralized global team. The Future of Jobs Report In contrast, there is a need for a high degree of self-management, self-management, self-management, self-learning, communication capabilities, and self-reinforcing in response to changes in the environment and technological developments. These observations also do not coincide with the observations of the World Economic Forum . In addition to the personal training program, AppWorks School also offers a training program for employees of companies that can build up technical knowledge and accumulate digital thinking through full-time learning. To date, the training has resulted in the transfer of faculty members to become software engineers; there are engineers who have advanced their technical and professional skills through training; and there is a better integration of the previous career and technical background, which has become the driving force behind the business’s digital transformation. For example, in 2020, Rainy Chen Qiaoling, Deputy Director of Data Research and Management, Taiwan's Big Brother, graduated from AppWorks School and is currently working as Taiwan's Senior Data and Management Unit, took the example of: "The training in AppWorks School has two main directions. The first is to learn how to look through a reverse program, how to look for problems through progressive adjustments, how to ask the right questions, how to ask the right questions can be solved. The second is to think about digitalization, where everyone is talking about it, how to do it, and how to do it in a way that is different from what she thinks it is. Looking back on these five years, AppWorks School continues to act as an enabler of Taiwanese software talent, and will continue to expand with the same goal in the future, providing more training opportunities for those who want to be transferred to positions as software engineers, participating in digital economic growth, and at the same time allowing more talent to develop, find the right people, and continue to contribute for the next five years.

In the age of the large CS (Computer Science), program engineers can be described as the most powerful people in the world today. Regardless of how many new products, services, or traditional industries need to be transformed, software engineers need to be behind them, so becoming software engineers is certainly the safest and most progressive career choice of the day.
The first advantage is the experience and vision of non-soft jobs. Most people, when they try to switch runways, worry that the previous job experience will be "zero" in the first place, that the employer will treat them as newcomers, and that they will become weaker in terms of job-seeking and wage-negotiation.
In fact, a job requires skills that can be classified as "core skills" and "professional skills" in two categories. "Core skills" refers to core literacy skills that are widely used in any workplace and that are required of every worker, such as problem-solving, communication, self-management, implementation of projects, etc., while "professional skills" are knowledge of specific domains, such as accounting, marketing, design, software development, etc., and are built on a wealth of practical experience and knowledge.
It is not difficult to imagine that engineers, who are generally regarded as highly qualified, are both core skills and professional skills to solve the problems that companies face; that the newcomers of society may both have to be retrained and rely on the beverages that will give them a chance to grow up; and that conversions, with 2-3 years of experience, are based on core skills, even if professional skills are time- and experience-bound, but with good foundation and continuous learning skills, will be able to get the first tickets from many employers and pay better than the newcomers.
In AppWorks School School-End Class #1, we felt that he was able to interact well with his classmates, mentors, fully articulate his problems and people, and that he was able to plan his own progress and indeed succeed. At the end of his career, he was given a great deal of communication, assistance, planning and execution in his work, as well as building his core skills. In AppWorks School, we felt that he was able to interact well with his classmates, mentors, and fully communicate with others.
The second advantage is that, because of their different work backgrounds, natural accumulations of ways of doing things, attitudes, and alternative thinking. For example, in the design, PM, or testing team, these work experiences can be regarded as "relevant" and, if combined with software skills, not only do the job better, but also perform a very good job in a new role.
In our past experience, acting as a front-end engineer for designers will pay particular attention to design details and achieve 100% of design restoration rates; working as an engineer for testers will focus on Error Handling, and will be more pleased to develop a way to improve the quality of the code and product; working as an engineer for the PM will change his position, improve with other sectors, and better understand the balance between business needs and technical constraints; using AppWorks School friend Jenny Hong as an example, as a face designer for the past two years, as a result of the limitations of the design industry, and having decided to invest in the software field to become a front engineer.
Both of these are good for the employer. If you were in these positions in the past but were more motivated by the role of actually investing in software development, you might want to give yourself time to try and try, even if you want to return to your original field, to be able to communicate with the engineer. If you try to find more enthusiasm, you can open up a new business for your career. More possibilities!
Finally, there is the advantage of a transitioner to combine his or her previous professional knowledge and become a rare cross-country new species. In the case of new start-up businesses that have worked with AppWorks School to recruit software talent, it is necessary to recruit people with a background in financial accounting and the ability to develop software to assist the internal financial system; there are also innovations in medical fields, especially those with a medical background when recruiting engineers. These hybrids, in the course of software development, are more responsive to the needs and ideas of users and act as a bridge between users and engineers, making the production process easier.
AppWorks School’s fifth-grade alumni, Susu Leung Seewy, who used to practise at the accounting firm, and later at a large company, decided to switch runways because she wanted to invest in areas related to self-inflicted work. She was invited by KKday to lead the development of the financial system when she was rapidly growing up at the end of her career.
When we combine the above, we want to tell you: "Anything that leaves a mark, there is no way for life to go for nothing." It is true that the transfer is not zero, that the cultivation of the original domain has accumulated, and that the next phase will be superior. Of course, after the first ticket, there is a need to continue to build up technical expertise to make it possible to go further and to have a wider stage of its career.

Many learning platforms such as Udemy, Udaciy, Khan Academy, etc., have provided a variety of software development courses, leading to the "self-learning program" trend. If they are used properly, they will be able to learn within six months, allowing new players with no relevant background to embark on software development, and now, in order to transfer to the program development-related work, there is no need for four years of university or two years of research.
Nevertheless, in the past three years or so, at , hundreds of people have been transitioned to work as software engineers, many of whom have applied for the term AppWorks School for 16 weeks on their way to school, and we would like to share with us, from a practical perspective, three mentalities that we believe should be properly taught by their own, in the hope of helping more people to cross learning barriers and become soft engineers at an early age:
First of all, software starters are easily lost in the vast CS knowledge when they start contact development. There are often hearsays: "Heard that Python is good for the new guy," "Heard that the front end is better for the job," "Heard Java has the most chance of working," and many starters learn Python, and JavaScript at a very early stage, and often at half, find that they do not have a direct connection to their intended goals, that they spend a lot of time and energy, but do nothing.
We suggest that a newcomer can take a "target-guided learning" in program development, setting a clear target before arranging a self-learning plan and step. For example, if you want to use a web application, then you should start directly from HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript; if you want to develop a mobile phone App, the developed platform iOS or Android should choose to learn Swift or Kotlin, reducing the time cost of travelling away.
How to organize a self-learning path? In fact, there are already a lot of software engineers on the Internet who share the skills tree of all kinds of work-related learning (see below). In the course of learning, newcomers can from time to time confirm whether what they are learning is relevant to the goal, and if they are found to be off-target, they can stop immediately and maximize the benefits of learning.
After choosing a field to focus, another area of error that is common to newcomers is often rehearsing to learn "known knowledge". It's always going through new circles, and I call it "the comfort of new hands." For example, many Web developers have developed new hands, often rehearsing different HTML tags, but are late to make the desired web page images; Android has started a new hand, and has been practicing static images, simple buttons, and not knowing how to co-operate backends and handle user's online behavior.
The reason for this is that there are usually two reasons behind it. First, many of the newcomers go through films or short courses and part-time studies, and if they do not have enough time to practice, they can forget it. Perhaps the previous night saw the film, there was something else that didn’t practice, and the day after that, they had to re-read it, and if they did not study again, they might have to do it again in a few days, so that there is no limit to the cycle, but they are late to break it.
This is usually a situation where there is insufficient time for practice and practice, and we have to reschedule the study. We suggest that if we want to be successful in part-time learning, it takes at least 15-20 hours per week and at least two hours per week at a time. For example, two to three nights per week, two to three hours, and six to eight hours each at the end of the week.
The second reason is that when a newcomer tries to challenge a more advanced topic and finds it difficult, it is easy to think that "it must be that my foundation is not good enough to know what to do." So it is time to look back at the videos that have already been seen and to learn more about them, but it is often only to deepen old memories, and there is still nothing to be done about the problems ahead.
In practical terms, progress is likely to require advanced knowledge to solve the problem, and the original learning resources may not cover it. So, what the newcomer is advised to do at this point is to collect and read more “advanced knowledge” and even at this stage, it is necessary to look at the practices of previous people, imitating and understanding before he can break through the necks and bring himself up to the top.
This does not mean that the foundation is not important. Rather, it is a reminder that if you find that you are always learning the same thing, or if you see the same film three times, but you cannot say what you want, then you should look at whether you are short of time, or if you should learn something deeper and more advanced.
Often there are 1-2 friends of engineers who may have been inspired by them in the first place to study programs. But in the course of their own studies, they are often afraid to ask for lessons and think that they have not read enough, so they are ashamed to bother others, but they spend too much time on a problem, build up unnecessary frustrations, and eventually give up learning.
For example, Bug, many of the development environments have systems, and if it takes time to operate, even if there is no missing code, it is likely that it will not be possible to achieve the desired result. Experienced engineers will try to "reopen" or solve the system’s problems in less than 10 minutes, but those who lack practical experience do not usually think that it was not a code problem, and that the problem will be solved in two or three days, and that it may happen only suddenly after an accident that will turn the development environment off.
But the problem itself is neutral, and the better it is, the better it is to judge it, the easier it is to put itself in a situation where it is impossible to ask. Conversely, the sooner you can solve it, the sooner you can build up your experience, the sooner you can become a qualified software engineer.
Of course, there's a great sense of achievement in solving problems on their own, but if you find yourself stuck in the same problem for several hours, ask your engineers' friends to help you grow faster through their experience. If you really feel your friends are busy, the technical community on the Internet like , , ,
In conclusion, thanks to the opening up of the Internet industry, the development of programs, compared to other skills, has a great deal of Internet learning resources, but it makes it easier for newcomers to lose their jobs. It is to be hoped that these three reminders will help starters to look at their learning problems and make a breakthrough.
