5月21日上午，杭州錢塘“元宇宙”新天地開園。該項目位於杭州錢塘區大創小鎮，佔地面積115畝，將圍繞數字孿生、人工智能等“元宇宙”核心底層技術，以及游戲、社交、教育等“元宇宙”新型應用場景，引進培育一批創新型中小企業。

活動當天，5位專家被聘為“元宇宙”產業顧問，為今后錢塘區“元宇宙”產業發展出謀劃策。同時，現場還成立錢塘區“元宇宙”協同創新實驗室、錢塘區元宇宙產學研聯盟兩大創新平台，一批“元宇宙”項目和金融合作項目順利簽約。

2022年年初，浙江出台《關於浙江省未來產業先導區建設的指導意見》，提出將構建以人工智能以及“元宇宙”等領域為重點的未來產業發展體系，杭州也提出抓緊布局，超前布局“元宇宙”未來產業，錢塘區有著怎樣的底氣？

“錢塘主要擁有三方面資源。”錢塘區相關負責人介紹說，產業資源上，截至2021年年底，錢塘區“元宇宙”概念關聯企業達64家，主要分布在集成電路產業、電子商務業和商務會展業，相關企業2021年營收達525.8億元。

人才資源上，2019年以來，錢塘區引進的人才企業中，已入局“元宇宙”產業鏈企業超10家，歸屬“元宇宙”概念企業43家。

高校資源上，錢塘區14所高校下設的二級學院中，近70所與“元宇宙”產業鏈的底層技術支撐、前端設備平台等層面有較強關聯，尤其杭州電子科技大學、浙江工商大學、浙江傳媒學院、浙江理工大學相關優勢專業與“元宇宙”息息相關。

“硬”即以核心硬件制造為產業主線，錢塘區將立足VR/AR光學元器件研發制造這一細分領域﹔“軟”即以“元宇宙”為催化劑，賦能工業制造同時，進一步豐富應用軟件內容生態，著重布局游戲、影視、社交、輔助制造四大細分方向。

比如，人才引領計劃中，高層次人才來錢塘區創辦“元宇宙”產業項目的，給予最高1000萬元啟動資金和研發費用補助、最高1000平米3年租金補貼、最高1000萬元貸款額度貼息支持以及最高1000萬元創業發展資助﹔產業發展緊缺、水平特別突出的創業項目，最高給予1億元資助。
For example, in the context of the talent-led project, top-level talent came to Chinatown for the creation of the “Megaspace” industry, providing up to $10 million in start-up and research grants, up to 1,000 square metres of rent supplements, up to $10 million in loan subsidy support and up to $10 million in start-up development assistance; and up to $100 million in support of industries that are under-developed and of a particularly high level of innovation.
