昨天，百度被曝出已经在网络上推出了一个“区块链宠物项目”——莱茨狗。简单来讲，就是基于区块链技术养宠物，并进行宠物交易等操作。

这种区块链养宠物让我们想到此前以太坊的养猫应用Cypto Kitties，玩家之间可以用官方交易货币“ETH”进行流通，当时一只虚拟猫的价格甚至炒到75万，最终该应用因为ETH主网的流量过大而瘫痪。
This block chain of pets reminds us of the Cypto Kitties, formerly used in the Taiku cat industry, where players could circulate through the official trading currency “ETH”, when the price of a virtual cat was even 750,000, and the application was eventually paralysed by the excessive flow of the ETH main network.
不过，问题来了，为什么这种区块链养宠物会火？养宠物真的有必要用上区块链吗？

但是同样引人深思的是，“莱茨狗”会不会重蹈以太坊虚拟猫的覆辙，因为在“莱茨狗”被曝光几个小时候后，有用户反映购买出现异常，区块链网络疑似已经崩溃。
