世界讀書日當天，一場關於元宇宙的對話，在北京東城區南曉順胡同書香世業文化街區中國青年報社的實體書店——“溫暖的BaoBao青年書店”舉行。網絡文學大學常務副校長劉英、中文在線奇想宇宙科幻站總編輯唐風、知名網文作家失落葉，與本報記者一起，通過“溫暖一平方”直播間，共同探討“元宇宙時代的青年寫作與閱讀”。
On the same day, World Reading Day, a conversation about the Won cosmopolitan took place at the real-world bookshop of the Chinese youth newspaper "The Warm BaoBao Youth Bookshop" in South Xiao Xiaohua, Beijing. Liu Ying, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cyber Literature, and Liu Ying, Vice-Chancellor of Chinese, are thinking about the loss of Tang Feng, Chief Editor of the Cosmos Fairy Station, and a well-known webwriter, working with this newspaper reporter on “Youth Writing and Reading in the Time of the Mesuns” live.
歷經4個多月的作品征集，由中文在線主辦的“首屆全球元宇宙征文大賽”已收到1.1萬份投稿。中國青年報社作為該項賽事的聯合主辦方之一，於4月28日開展了“青春元宇宙”主題活動，探索元宇宙時代的內容形態，推動青年在這股新浪潮中的成長與發展。
After more than four months of research, the Chinese-sponsored “First Global Dollar Cosmos Envelope” has received more than 11,000 contributions. As one of the co-organizers of the contest, the Chinese Youth News Agency launched a theme event on the theme “Yin Won cosmos” on April 28, exploring the content of the Won cosmos era and stimulating the growth and development of young people in this new wave.
最早誕生於科幻小說的概念“元宇宙”，成為席卷全球科技、經濟、文化領域的浪潮，我們該如何講述故事？這個時代的文學創作會因此受到怎樣的影響？未來的“元宇宙”IP會是什麼模樣？
How can we tell stories when the concept of the first science fiction, the meta-cosm, is born as a wave of global technology, economy, and culture? How will literary creation in this era be affected?
元宇宙給青年帶來機會
唐風表示，“元宇宙”的概念並非忽然火起來的，1992年科幻小說《雪崩》已出現這個詞。“谷歌眼鏡出來的時候，小火了一把，但當時技術還不成熟”。唐風指出，最近“元宇宙”火的內因是：技術開始成熟，VR眼鏡硬件和軟件條件都跟上了。外因則包括兩點：5G網絡的普及、基於區塊鏈技術的數字貨幣的出現。 Tang Fung said that the concept of the “mass universe” was not ablaze, as it appeared in the science fiction novel Avalanche in 1992. “Google glasses came out with a little fire, but the technology was still immature.” Tang Fung pointed out that the underlying causes of the recent “mass cosmos” fire were that technology began to mature and VR hardware and software were kept up. External factors included two points: the spread of the 5G network, and the emergence of digital currency based on block-link technology.
劉英認為，元宇宙對於年輕一代來說是一個機會。他回憶，當年在進入網絡文學行業做編輯之前，自己也沒有太大的信心，而當時其他同行亦是如此，沒想到網絡文學會發展成這麼大的產業，並造就如此多的機會。“元宇宙也是一樣，它首先是由技術來推動的，如果沒有技術作底層的話，它是沒有辦法演進到下一代的。” Liu Ying thought that the Yuan cosmopolitan was an opportunity for the younger generation. He remembered that he had not had much confidence in himself before entering the online literature industry to do editing, and so did other colleagues, who had no idea that online literature would grow into such a big business and create so many opportunities. "The Yuan cosmopolitans, too, were first driven by technology, and there was no way for it to evolve into the next generation without a technological bottom-up."
劉英認為，元宇宙更像下一代互聯網。“它一定會提供大量的機會，尤其在內容創造領域，可能會出現一塊很大很肥沃的土地，讓大家一塊兒去耕種，也會出現很多好故事，然后借由技術將這些故事變成現實”。 According to Liu Ying, the universe is more like the next-generation network. “It will provide a lot of opportunities, especially in the area of content creation, and it will create a vast and fertile land, so that people can grow together, and there will be many good stories, and technology will turn them into reality.”
唐風指出，元宇宙所帶來的“好故事”，並不會主要以文字的形式來體現，而更多會是影視化、游戲化甚至產業化的內容。在唐風看來，元宇宙對青年最大的影響會來自元宇宙自身強大的跨界能力。 Tang Fung pointed out that the “good story” brought by the Won cosmos does not appear mainly in the form of words, but more in the form of visualization, play and even industrialization. In Tang Fung’s view, the most significant impact of the Won cosmos on young people can come from the powerful cross-border capabilities of the Yuan cosmos itself.
“元宇宙，是以宇宙為單位來思考自己應該在哪兒。跨界會給很多青年、用戶以自由。”唐風說。 "The meta-cosmos is about the universe thinking about where it should be. Cross-borders give freedom to many young people and users." The Tang wind says.
元宇宙與文學之間相輔相成
最早以創作網游小說為很多讀者所知的失落葉表示，以前創作的游戲小說類型其實和當下爆紅的元宇宙概念是比較呼應的。隨著元宇宙逐漸受到大眾關注，這一概念的細節也越來越清晰、完整、具體。“元宇宙會給我寫的網游小說提供一個更加清晰的理論依據﹔而小說所包含的想象力等，對元宇宙也有一定的指導意義，我覺得兩者之間相輔相成。” As the meta-cosm is gaining public attention, the details of this concept become clearer, more complete and more specific. "The meta-cosm will provide me with a clearer rationale for the novels of the net; and the imagination contained in the novels, among other things, has some guidance for the meta-cosm, and I think that there is a convergence between the two."
劉英是失落葉多年的讀者和好友，他在2004年就已開始研究網游小說。 Liu Ying, who has been a reader and friend of lost leaves for many years, began studying online novels in 2004.
“那個時候，小說裡已經有了智能頭盔，以及后來出現的VR、AR技術，也有了養生艙等。”劉英說，當時，這類小說的作者更多會考慮如何讓讀者有“暢快的沉浸感”，較少考慮技術層面的內容，但很多元素、設計已經暗合了當下的元宇宙。 “In that time, there were smart helmets in the novel, and then there were VRs, AR techniques, and there were pods.” Yoo Ying said, at the time, the authors of this novel were more likely to think about how to give readers a “grate sense of immersion”, less about the technical content, but many elements, designs, were already embedded in the current meta-cosm.
2021年11月，中文在線發起主辦、中國青年報社聯合主辦的“首屆全球元宇宙征文大賽”吸引了創作者的踴躍參與。目前，評委正對參賽作品進行層層評選。 In November 2021, the Chinese-language online launch and the China Youth Press Association's “First Global Dollar Cosmos Enquirement” attracted the participation of the author. At present, the review board is making a top-level review of the entries.
唐風笑言，一開始很多作者其實是“不敢”參與的。“因為一開始元宇宙給大家的印象就像電影《黑客帝國》，所以覺得如果我寫的東西還不如《黑客帝國》，那為何要寫？會存在這樣的困惑。” The Tang wind laughs that many authors were in the first place, "Don't dare." "Because the first dollar cosmos gave you the impression of a movie called "The Hacking Empire," thought that if I didn't write as much as "The Hacking Empire," then why would I write it?
發覺大家對元宇宙小說有點迷惑、膽怯后，唐風連做了四五期講解視頻，告訴大家元宇宙的具體方向、關鍵技術要點、關鍵故事要點、適合發揮與需要避開的內容等。這些講解也被失落葉看到。 After a little bit of confusion and timidness about the character of the Woncosm novels, Tang Fung made four or five issues of the video explaining the specific direction of the Won cosmos, the key technical points, the key story points, the fit and the content that needed to be avoided. These explanations were also seen in the missing leaves.
失落葉說，他當時正好想開新書，看到元宇宙征文大賽，“想都沒想，覺得太合適了”，於是直接報名。 Lost leaves said that he was just about to open a new book, saw the Woncosm essay contest, “never thought about it, thought it was too good”, so he just signed up.
劉英指出，中文在線當初之所以想舉辦這場賽事，核心考慮還是希望推動元宇宙快速發展。劉英坦陳，其他一些國家早早起步開始進行元宇宙的探索，而國內還不算成熟。他希望可以讓元宇宙概念盡快在中國更大范圍內落地，經歷“從小到大的成長，然后能參與全球性的競爭”。 Liu Ying pointed out that the central consideration behind the Chinese campaign was the desire to promote the rapid development of the meta-cosmos. Liu Yin Chen, some other countries started early to explore the meta-cosmos, and the country is not yet mature. He hoped that the meta-cosm concept would soon fall within the larger Chinese landscape, experiencing “aging from childhood to age, and then participating in global competition.”
元宇宙會講出更多超越文字的好故事IP
第49次《中國互聯網發展狀況統計報告》顯示，截至2021年年底，我國網絡文學用戶總規模達到5.02億，較去年同期增加4145萬，佔網民總數的48.6%，讀者數量創出新高。 The 49th China Internet Development Statistics Report shows that, by the end of 2021, our total number of online literary users had reached 502 million, an increase of 41.45 million over the same period last year, accounting for 48.6 per cent of the total number of Internet users, and the number of readers was newly high.
歷經20多年，網絡文學行業迅猛發展，並打造了眾多優質IP及成功轉化的案例。而劉英、唐風和失落葉都指出，元宇宙時代或許將為我們帶來不一樣的IP概念。 After more than 20 years, the online literature industry has developed rapidly and has built many good IPs and successful conversions. Liu Ying, Tang Feng, and Lost Leaves have pointed out that the Woncosmos era may bring different IP concepts to us.
在唐風看來，在元宇宙時代，IP未必只是一部小說，而是會“進化”。“比如說一個祖母早已經去世了，但是AI記錄了她的音容笑貌，那麼這個已經死去的人，如果天生善良、非常善於安慰人，她會在互聯網上永生，成為女神。” In Tang Feng's view, IP may not be just a novel, but an evolution in the time of the meta-cosmos. “For example, a grandmother died long ago, but AI recorded a smile on her voice, so that this dead man, if born good and very comforting, will live forever on the Internet and become a goddess.”
“很多人是慢慢等著，隻有少部分人正在促進它的發生。”唐風表示，“Web3.0”意味著一次跨越時間和空間的巨大發展，有一些曾經你未曾想象的內容也可能成為新IP，且威力巨大。 “Many are waiting slowly, and only a few are pushing it.” The Tang wind says that “Web3.0” means a huge development across time and space, and that some of the things you never imagined could become new IPs and powerful.
唐風相信，在元宇宙時代，創作者的世界被拓寬了，能擁有更多機會表達天賦。即使一個非文字記載的故事，若能被“Web3.0”無處不在的網絡技術記錄下來，同樣有可能成為一個超級IP。 Tang Fung believes that the world of creators has been expanded and given more opportunities to express their talents in the time of the meta-cosmos. Even a story that is not written can become a super-IP if it is recorded by the ubiquitous web technology of “Web3.0.”
對於此次中文在線和中國青年報社在“青春元宇宙”板塊的合作，幾位嘉賓都表示很期待。劉英認為，想要讓元宇宙從概念變成現實，需要整個社會一起參與。“《中國青年報》對青年影響非常大，而青年對於新興事物接受程度又是最高的﹔同時，媒體可以把社會影響力放大。” According to Liu Ying, in order to move from concept to reality, the entire society needs to be involved. “The Chinese Youth Bulletin has a great impact on young people, and young people have the highest acceptance of new developments; at the same time, the media can magnify the impact of society.”
失落葉說：“元宇宙時代的到來，內容呈現會更趨向於現實，所以對於年輕人來說挑戰多，但是機遇也多，隻要敢努力還是可以取得成功的。” Lost leaves say, "When the time of the Woncosmos comes, the content will become more realistic, so there are many challenges for young people, but there are many opportunities for success if you try."
