中新社香港4月11日电 (记者 魏华都)香港Web3.0协会成立典礼11日在香港金融大会堂举行，该协会冀望推动香港Web3.0(第三代互联网)技术变革和产业升级。
据介绍，香港Web3.0协会是跨业界和非牟利机构，旨在推动技术变革和产业升级，为业界创立产业标准；推动社会对Web3.0的认知和专业人士培训，促进香港Web3.0生态环境建设。
Web3.0 Association Hong Kong is described as an inter-industry and non-profit organization aimed at promoting technological change and industrial upgrading, creating industrial standards for industry, promoting social awareness and professional training on Web3.0 and promoting the Web3.0 ecological environment in Hong Kong.
典礼上，香港特区行政长官李家超致辞时表示，创新科技是香港重点发展领域，香港要坚持以技术革新推动经济增长。Web3.0发展正值黄金起点，这项颠覆性的技术能改变许多原有的商业运作模式，同时创造更多新的机遇，香港必须敢于成为这波创新浪潮的引领者。
During the ceremony, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, Lee, stated that innovation is a priority area for Hong Kong and that Hong Kong must insist on technological innovation as an engine of economic growth. Web3.0 is a golden start, and this subversive technology can change many of the original business models while creating new and additional opportunities, and Hong Kong must dare to be the leader of this wave of innovation.
李家超说，Web3.0对金融科技的发展起着关键的作用。不少龙头创科企业及高技术的初创公司考虑在香港开拓业务，相信能助力Web3.0生态圈的蓬勃发展，特区政府期待Web3.0协会携手合作，为香港创科及金融发展提速，并在吸引全球人才和企业方面提量，迎接Web3.0和虚拟资产业发展所带来的机遇。
Lee said that Web3.0 is a key factor in the development of financial science and technology. A number of leading start-ups and high-tech start-ups are considering opening up their businesses in Hong Kong, believing that it will help the boom in the Web3.0 biosphere. The HKSAR government looks forward to the Web3.0 Association working together to speed up the development of creative science and finance in Hong Kong and to boost the pool of global talent and enterprises to meet the opportunities offered by Web3.0 and virtual asset development.
香港Web3.0协会理事会会长、香港金融管理局前总裁陈德霖致辞时称，比起Web2.0，Web3.0针对个人数据及资讯、内容提供较佳的保护，将激活大量创新及创作，并带来商机。香港要在数字经济及数字金融方面处于国际领先地位，取决于在Web3.0世代下，我们能否做好数字及数据产业化、产业数字化和资产数字化三方面的发展，协会将为香港、粤港澳大湾区和国家在数字经济发展上作出贡献。
The President of the Board of Governors of the Web3.0 Association of Hong Kong and former Managing Director of the Hong Kong Financial Authority, Chen Deok-hyun, stated that providing better protection for personal data and information, content than Web2.0, Web3.0 would activate a great deal of innovation and creativity and bring business opportunities. Hong Kong is an international leader in the digital economy and digital finance, depending on whether we will be able to develop the three dimensions of digital and data industrialization, industry digitization, and asset digitization in the third generation of the Web3.
香港Web3.0协会由中国移动国际有限公司、中国移动香港有限公司、招商局能源运输股份有限公司、华为云香港和香港科技大学发起，成员包括中国工程院院士陈纯和香港科技大学副校长汪扬等。
The Web3.0 Association of Hong Kong was initiated by China Mobile International Ltd., China Mobile Hong Kong Ltd., the Recruitment and Marketing Service Energy Transport Company Ltd., and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The members of the Association included Chen Jun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Wang Yang, Vice-Chancellor of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
香港Web3.0协会荣誉会长、中国移动香港有限公司董事长李锋表示，中国移动在香港拥有领先的5G网络、多个网络数据中心，以及能够通达中国内地和全球的海陆缆资源，能够为香港Web3.0的发展提供强有力的支撑。
The Honorary President of the Web3.0 Association of Hong Kong and the Chairman of China Mobile Hong Kong Ltd., Li Feng, stated that China's movement to the leading 5G network in Hong Kong, multiple data centres, and access to sea and terrestrial cable resources in China and globally could provide a strong support for the development of the Web3.0 in Hong Kong.
香港近年致力发展Web3.0，打造国际虚拟资产中心。去年10月底，香港特区政府就虚拟资产在香港的发展发表政策宣言，展示对虚拟资产创新的开放态度，也提到Web3.0有潜力成为金融和商贸未来发展的趋势。(完)
At the end of October last year, the HKSAR government issued a policy declaration on the development of virtual assets in Hong Kong, demonstrating openness to virtual asset innovation, and mentioned that Web3.0 has the potential to become a trend for future financial and commercial development.
